Clay is the Founder of Abode Homebuyers. He has been acquiring and managing single-family and multifamily properties full-time since 2009. Clay began his career as a real estate agent and broker more than a decade ago and shortly thereafter moved into the acquisition, renovation, and disposition of both residential and commercial projects. He has launched various successful startups in the real estate industry as well as the food and beverage industry. He has personally been involved in over 500 real estate transactions. He has a beautiful wife and five amazing children who keep him busy. Clay holds a B.S. from the University of Utah.
Lyndon Dangerfield
Home Buying Specialist
Lyndon Dangerfield is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in real estate, sales management, and entrepreneurship. With over a decade of experience as a Real Estate Sales Agent, he has honed his skills in client relations, property tours, contract preparation, and negotiation. His leadership roles as Sales Director at Lit Living and Regional Sales Manager at Walker Edison highlight his expertise in team development, strategic growth, and international partnerships. Lyndon holds an associate degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University and is a licensed real estate professional with a strong commitment to business development and sustainability. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, exploring the many wonders of Utah.

Dallin was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in Saratoga Springs, Utah. With a strong background in sales and marketing, he excels at solving problems and thinking creatively. Dallin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to every transaction, offering homeowners simple yet effective solutions tailored to their unique needs. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football and basketball and cherishes time spent with his wife and their dog, whether playing games or watching movies together.

Finding myself in a bad situation by contacting a cash buyer I thought was trust worthy for them to use my situation against me and try to back me into something I wouldn’t usually accept, I was five days away from having my home auctioned for. Ack property taxes and had planned on closing with this other company on 4 days prior but they refused and said they weren’t under contract and wanted me to pretty much sign my home away for$77k. At a loss for what to do and how to come out of this not being homeless with my children after we lost their father and my husband of 26 years two months prior I contacted who I thought was someone I had worked with before but he had moved on. Abode had actually been trying to get in touch with me for several weeks which I ignored since I thought I was already in good hands. Without any hope of saving my home I still attempted to do just that. I was contacted by Dillon who put me in touch with Lyndon and he came out to my home that same night since he new that I was running out of time and he would have to act fast to try and make this work out for the best. After talking with him and explaining everything I could feel the difference immediately between the two companies and individuals sent to help. Lyndon expressed genuine concern and he really wanted to help me out the best he could. Where the other people seemed nice but didn’t have that same genuine concern. He met with his partners the next day and called with a reasonable offer for the property and insured he would be able to get everything done to pay the taxes and stop the tax sale. That was Friday and the first night I had sleep in two months since losing my husband as I finally felt like I had the right person on my side. He came by Monday with Clay and they both sat down and talked with me and insured me they would help and not to worry and we worked out all the fine details of the contract. Tuesday we did remote closing on the property and the loans, taxes and liens were paid and the tax sale stopped just in time. Since then I continue working with each of them on finding my next home to start a new chapter for me and my children. My son is 24 but he refuses to leave me since his dad passed and my daughter was our miracle baby and is only 13 and I won’t have to live on the streets with them since I found wonderful people who genuinely care and want to help. Lyndon I can’t express enough how grateful I am for your generosity and concerns and for working on your time off to help me and my family. Clay I appreciate all you’ve done to move this along quickly and for now helping me with finding my new home. I look forward to each new interaction and and hope that once I am in my new home we could stay in contact. Lyndon, Clay and the whole team at Abode have been my saving grace and I wish I would have we t with them a year ago when I first had contacted them but it just wasn’t them right time. Where it was me and my son who had to sign in sure they were hoping to get one of us to sign before the other noticed but I had told my son to wait to sign anything until I gave him permission.
